It is critical that parents do whatever they can to make sure that their child has high self-esteem. Sometimes children go through phases in life that parents don’t recognize. This becomes very dangerous because many times if self-esteem issues are not addressed, it can develop into something more serious. 

It is critical to think about what you can do as a parent to put it into your children facing self-esteem issues. Many parents believe that simply motivating and encouraging your children is enough to help build self-esteem. Though encouraging your children plays a huge role on their self-esteem, there is more that must be done. The reality of it, is that many children who face self-esteem issues have already faced self-esteem issues since they were younger. Self-esteem problems stem from childhood and continues until they are teenagers and or adults. It is important to constantly encourage and motivate your child, but at the same time change their feelings of their self-esteem. You can do this by changing the way they look by improving their appearance and the things that they are unhappy with.
